Modern Storytelling: Ava Laurénne Bride & The Publisher Hotel

Big news! Ava Laurénne Bride is thrilled to partner with The Publisher, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, right in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg! Once home to The Free Lance-Star newspaper, this iconic site has been reimagined as The Publisher Hotel, crafting a brand-new story and turning Fredericksburg into a dream destination for brides.

Our recent collaborative photoshoot with The Publisher was pure magic, inspired by their mission to help people tell their unique stories—something we’re just as passionate about! At Ava Laurénne Bride, we’re all about creating unforgettable experiences for brides, and partnering with brands like The Publisher makes the magic even more special.

The Publisher Hotel is a stunning blend of old-money charm and modern elegance. With its bright, airy exterior and moody, glamorous interiors, it’s the perfect mix of downtown Fredericksburg’s charm and the allure of old Hollywood. This breathtaking space is brimming with possibilities, and we can’t wait to share it with our brides!

“Our goal isn’t to be different simply for the sake of being different, but to present something fresh, innovative, and truly unique—offering experiences that inspire and redefine what’s possible.” - Natalie Pierre, Chief Branding Officer, Ava Laurénne Bride

The Iconic Spaces of The Publisher, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Staircase

The Publisher’s breathtaking white staircase makes a statement with its timeless essence characterized by symmetrical lines and curved railings. The architecture looks incredibly luxe and can be beautifully paired with a classic palate and traditional flowers. Décor by Mercer incorporated classic creams and ivory with a touch of blue to create a traditional, old-money feel.

Foyer

The Publisher’s foyer exudes drama with its high ceilings, dark wood, and gorgeous chandelier. It's dark and moody tone gives it a luxurious feel, complemented by an old Hollywood charm!

Private Dining Room

The private dining room has an intimate feel with an adjoining room that can be opened to allow access to additional seating. It is the perfect space for a personal, elevated experience, including a bridal brunch or rehearsal dinner. Gatherings by Mercer created an elevated table garden arrangement to highlight the space and showcase just one of the many possibilities for this room.

Presidential Suite

The beautiful presidential suite has a light and airy feel that is perfectly complimented by the organic greenery. It is fresh, classic, and the idea place to host a brunch or celebration with the bridal party.
