At Ava Laurénne Bride, we believe in the power of art to inspire, connect, and heal. That’s why we’re thrilled to invite you to The Art of Gratitude, a unique event combining the worlds of art and bridal couture to support a cause close to our hearts. Join us on Friday, November 22nd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm est at our shop on 3 McBeth Street in Greenville SC.

A Night to Celebrate Artists and Support a Cause:

The Art of Gratitude isn’t just an event—it’s a mission. We’re partnering with Thornback Gallery to host an open-air art market and bridal fashion show featuring local and regional artists impacted by recent challenges. The highlight? A silent auction featuring a hand-painted wedding gown by the talented Johni Bleu, with 100% of proceeds going to ArtsAVL. This incredible nonprofit supports artists across Western North Carolina, particularly those in Asheville’s renowned River Arts District.

By joining us, you’ll not only experience the magic of the evening but also contribute to relief efforts for artists in need.

‍What To Expect:

#1: A Meaningful & Stunning Art Market

Discover incredible works from talented artists, both local and regional:

  • Christopher Peterson: Known for his stunning urban landscapes, Christopher’s oil paintings capture the intricate beauty of cityscapes. He’ll showcase both small and large pieces that reflect the essence of urban life.
  • Julieta Fumberg: Originally from Buenos Aires, Julieta’s abstract paintings and photo prints exude vibrancy and emotion. Her unique perspective combines graphic design, illustration, and photography, celebrating creativity as a way of life.
  • Robin Aiken: Representing Thornback Gallery, Robin’s works are a celebration of self-discovery, resilience, and the beauty of creation.
  • Laurie Buck: From White Whale Studio, Laurie’s paintings are deeply personal reflections of her journey to overcome self-imposed limitations and embrace the world’s beauty.
  • Mara Labell: Renowned jewelry artist with pieces showcased at the Grand Bohemian hotels in Greenville and Asheville. Despite facing challenges, including a significant loss of inventory, Mara continues to create breathtaking jewelry that tells a story of resilience.

#2 A Runway Show Like No Other:

We’re rolling out the red carpet for a couture bridal fashion show, featuring designs by Tina Valerdi, set against the stunning backdrop of Johni Bleu’s mural. Imagine couture gowns, elegant jewelry by Mara Labell, and breathtaking hair and makeup by Nomadic Beauty, all coming together to create a visual masterpiece right in the heart of our parking lot.

#3 Food, Music, and Festive Cheer:

The evening wouldn’t be complete without live music by the talented Howl Tree Band, delectable hors d’oeuvres from Woodside Bistro, and custom-crafted cocktails by Neon Moon Mobile Bar. Plus, guests will get a sneak peek of our Christmas décor designed by the creative geniuses at Gatherings Creative.
